AAMI focuses on bringing money towards mental health research and advocation. We do this by spreading awareness on social media and doing in person advocation to destigmatize mental illness.

Helping destigmatize mental illness is something that ​anyone can do today. If you see someone struggling offer them an outlet of some kind weather that means crisis hotline or just talking to them, a small gesture could save someone. 

Want to start a chapter? 

Chapters and chapter leaders are responsible for showing up to events within their area as well as coordinating some events within their area. These events are started to bring funding towards mental health research and to destigmatize mental illness.
